JEE (Main) 2024 Exam Pattern

The JEE (Main) 2024 pattern has been made public by the NTA on its official website. Except for the drawing section, which will be performed offline for students studying JEE (Main) 2024 to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch. ), both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be administered online.
The National Testing Agency of India’s exam pattern indicates that the previous exam pattern has undergone a recent revision. The numerical questions in Section B of the exam will now be subject to negative marking. Therefore, students must keep themselves informed of the most recent changes to the exam substance, format, and dates before continuing with their study for one of the more challenging admission examinations.

JEE Main 2024 Paper 1

JEE (Main) 2024 for the Paper 1 will be held online in computer-based mode only. The test will consist of multiple-choice and numerical questions. The exam pattern is explained in full further down.

There are two sections to Paper 2. Students studying architecture take Paper 2A, and those studying planning take Paper 2B. Both papers will be administered online, with the exception of the Drawing section of Paper 2A (B.Arch. ), which will be held offline.
