JEE Main Application
Candidates must fill out an application form and submit it after uploading the required documents and paying the applicable fees in order to sit for the JEE(Main) 2024 exam. If a candidate plans to take the exam in both sessions—January (Session 1) and April (Session 2)—they must submit two separate applications.
Candidates who correctly fill out the application and submit it after paying the fees are given an admit card and permitted to take the computer-based test. As a result, candidates should keep abreast of important dates and other recent examination news. The JEE (Main) 2024 will have some of the following major components.

Application Fee/Paper
For both Indian and international applicants, the NTA provides a variety of fee schedules. The table below lists the per-session costs for the major categories in both areas.

Application Process
- Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in to access the JEE (Main) official website.
- To register for JEE (Main) 2024, click the link.
- With your name, mobile number, and email address, create a “New Registration.”
- Completely fill out the registration form, making sure to include both your personal and academic data.
- Upload the relevant documents and scanned photos.
- Payment of the application cost
For future use, print the NTA confirmation paper. - The candidate’s email address will receive a link to the confirmation page or PDF. Keep the confirmation on file for future use.
Required Documents
Applicants must upload the correct papers within the allotted size because the editing process could take some time. The necessary paperwork is listed below:
- JPEG-formatted scans of the candidate’s signature (4 kb to 30 kb) and photo (10 kb to 200 kb).
- Certificates of category (if the candidate falls within a protected category).
- Aadhar Cards, Bank Passbooks, Copies of Ration Cards, Passports, etc. are examples of photo ID evidence.
- Certificates from the 10th and 12th grades serve as proof of qualifications.
- Use a debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI to make payments.
JEE (Main) Application Correction
The NTA has created an online window where applicants can make changes to their JEE (Main) 2023 application forms. Although it should be highlighted that just a few fields can be changed, applicants should take caution when completing their application forms.
- Using the login information that was generated during the New Registration process, the applicant must access the NTA’s official portal.
- Similar credentials would have been sent to each email address when the charge was paid.
- The applicant will edit the necessary information after logging in before submitting it.
- Because they won’t be able to edit it afterwards, applicants should provide precise information.
Check JEE (Main) Application Status
By logging into their account on the NTA website after submitting their application, candidates can immediately monitor the status of their JEE (Main) 2024 application. Once the email ID and password have been entered, the status will be shown on the screen.
