JEE Main Exam Centres Outside India
The most sought engineering admission exam, the JEE, is no longer only available to candidates from across national boundaries. Exam venues are now open in 25 locations outside of India for the convenience of NRI applicants according to NTA, the autonomous agency that administers the JEE.
Students in the GCC countries should be happy. As long as they live in one of the GCC countries, candidates can now take the computer-based exam there.
- At the time of application, each NRI candidate would have a choice of four JEE (Main) 2024 Exam Centres.
- The JEE (Main) 2024 admit card will have the full address of the exam centre.
- The students are recommended to visit their exam sites one day before the exam date to familiarise themselves with the area and gauge how long it will take them to get there.

Exam Centre Instructions for NRI Students
The following are some suggestions that all NRI engineering applicants should consider when choosing their exam centres:
- It is advised that candidates choose the Exam Centre that is closest to their place of residence.
- While filling out the application, candidates may select up to four centres.
- For the JEE (Main) 2023, candidates should choose either Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) or Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Plan.
- For Papers 1 and 2, candidates may choose either an offline exam or an online exam.
