NEET-UG Application Process
The NEET application form is the first step for applicants to reach their ideal medical school. Candidates must confirm that they meet the NTA-prescribed eligibility requirements before submitting their NEET application. Candidates are urged to use particular caution when completing the application. There are two stages required to finish the NEET 2024 application form.
Step 1: Candidates must fill up all of their details correctly in the first stage of the NEET application form 2024.
Step 2: Candidates are allowed to modify the information they’ve filled in the NEET application form in this step.
NEET 2024 Application Process
NEET 2024 application process is completely online and is divided into five different steps.

NTA NEET 2024 registration window has been opened by NTA on 6th March 2024. The last date of registration is 6th April 2024 till 9 PM IST.

NEET 2024 Application Process - Important Points to Remember
Here we present a few key points to keep in mind while filling out the NEET 2024 registration form:
- Only one NEET application form needs to be submitted per candidate.
- Rejecting multiple entries is the only option.
- From a list of 13 languages, the exam medium/language must be carefully selected. The linguistic medium for the NEET 2024 will not change in the future.
- In any case, late registrations won’t be accepted.
- Make sure you have all of your paperwork and information available before beginning the NEET 2024 application.
- Only on the NEET 2024 registration form’s official website, www.neet.nta.nic may it be submitted.Candidates for PwD must complete the pertinent fields on the NEET online application form.
- The application confirmation page must be saved by candidates for future reference.
NEET 2024 Application Process - Documents Required
Before filling out the application form, candidates are advised to keep all the required details and documents ready to complete the application process hassle-free.
- A working cell phone number and email address
- Details for classes 12 and 10 (including roll number, grades, board, certificates, subjects, year of graduation, and other information)
- Aadhaar ID Aadhaar, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport Number, or Driving Licence are acceptable forms of identification for Indian citizens.
- Candidates who are NRIs, OCIs, or PIOs must provide their passports, embassy certificates, and proof of citizenship.
- Candidates who are foreign nationals must provide their passports, embassy certificates, and proof of citizenship.
- AADHAAR cards, passports, voter ID cards, domicile certificates, etc. are examples of current and permanent address proof.
Documents to be uploaded for NEET 2024 Registration
While filling out the NEET 2024 application form, candidates need to scan copies of the following documents:
- Latest Passport size Photograph
- Post Card size photograph
- Signature
- Left and Right-hand Fingers and Thumb impressions
- Class 10 passed certificate
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.)
- PwBD certificate
- Citizenship Certificate/ Embassy Certificate or any Documentary proof of Citizenship certificate
- Current and Permanent Address Proof

NRI/ Foreign Candidates need the following documents as well while filling the NEET 2024 application form:

NEET 2024 Application Process - Steps
Follow the given steps to fill out the NEET 2024 application form:
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the NEET official website www.neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the ‘New Registration’ link
- Read all the instructions carefully and then click on ‘Apply Online.
- Next enter your personal details like name, parent’s name, DOB, nationality, category, gender, etc.
- Upon completion, click on the submit button.
- Your NEET 2024 registration will be completed and your login credentials will be generated.
- Save your login credential and move on to the next step to fill out the NEET Application Form.
Step 2: Fill out the Online Application Form
- Click on the “Click here to log in” option
- Now log in using the login credentials
- Then fill out the NEET 2024 Application Form
- Details like Personal details, Place of birth, Academic details of 10th, 11th & 12th, Permanent address, Correspondence address, Parents’ details, and Security Pin to be entered here.
- Candidates also need to fill the exam medium and choose the examination centres, filled in decreasing order of preference
- The details filled in the registration form will be pre-filled and cannot be changed.
- Aspirants must carefully review and fill in all of the details because once the application form for NEET 2024 is submitted, it cannot be modified.
- After completion, click on “Yes, please do” on the confirmation page to submit the application form.
Step 3: Upload Required Documents
- Go to the “Upload Recent Documents” link
- Here candidates need to upload all the required documents in the specified formats.
- Upload scanned copies of signature, photograph, thumb impression, category certificate, mark sheet, etc.
- Upon completion, click on the “next” button.
Step 4: Payment of Application Fees
After filling out the application form, candidates need to pay the application fee in online mode only. Candidates can use their debit card, the UPI app, internet banking, a credit card, or an e-wallet to pay the NEET 2024 application fee.

Step 5: Submit and Download the Confirmation Page
- After successful payment, complete the application process by accepting the declaration and clicking on the “submit” button.
- If the status is shown as ‘Confirmed,’ it signifies that the NEET 2024 application form has been approved by the conducting authority.
- Finally, download the NEET 2024 Application Form as well as the confirmation page and print it for future reference.
How to Reset/ Retrieve your NEET 2024 Login Password?
Although it is encouraged that candidates save their NEET 2024 login information, there are two options to reset or retrieve your NEET 2024 Login Password: a security question, or an OTP. The methods listed below will help you change your NEET 2024 login password.
- Access the official website at www.neet.nta.nic.in.
- Pick “Reset password for NEET 2024” from the menu.
- Enter your Name, Date of Birth, and NEET 2024 Application Number now.
- Choose one of the two possibilities: using an OTP or a security question.
- Use the selected method to reset or retrieve your password.
- Once finished, store your password for later use.
NEET 2024 Application Process - Correction Window
Only the registered applicants can modify the information or mistakes in their application form after completing the NEET application form. The NEET application form correction window allows applicants to change any incorrect information or errors that were made in the NEET 2024 application form. In order to make modifications to the NEET application form, follow the steps provided:
- Go to www.neet.nta.nic.in and log in with your login information.
- Select the 2024 NEET application form rectification link.
- You can modify any mandatory fields after your application form is opened.
- The OTP that was sent to the registered mobile number, please.
- Submit the application form with the updated information, and then keep the receipt for the form adjustment.
