A Detailed Analysis of NMAT 2022

The NMAT 2022 included three sections, each with 36 questions. The pupils were required to tackle every question because there was no way to move on to the next without responding to the present one. The order of the portions could be chosen by the pupils.

Language Skills (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension)

Reading comprehension (2 passages, 1 passage=4 questions), parajumbles, fill-in-the-blanks, phrase replacement, spot the error, and analogies were all evenly weighted in the Language Skills section’s questions.

NMAT 2022’s quantitative skills portion included three sets of data interpretation questions, totaling 30% of the section. Arithmetic and Modern Math (PNC and Probability) dominated the remaining portion of the chapter. There were a fair amount of questions from algebra, number theory, and geometry.

Logical Reasoning (Logical Reasoning and Critical Reasoning)

There are 22 questions in the verbal reasoning portion. Topics covered in this lesson included Statement conclusion, Statement argument, Statement assumption, Syllogism, and paragraph-based critical reasoning. The final 14 inquiries were from the analytical reasoning section. The questions’ overall level of difficulty was easy to adjust, though.
