A teacher teaching on SYOLOZ platform is referred to as an “Academic Specialist”

For joining as an “Academic Specialist”, you can register yourself as a teacher, by visiting the homepage of the website https://SYOLOZ.com/.

Click on “Become A tutor” button and fill up your basic details.

Our Academic Coordinator will connect with you for further process.

You need to submit your CV and a Demonstration Video for our experts to review.

The process usually completes in 7-10 days’ time.

No, you do not make any payment to start teaching at SYOLOZ.

No, you do not sign any bond with us.

However, to apprise you of our basic working rules and have transparency, you will sign a MoU with SYOLOZ.

We teach all Core and additionalsubjects offered in CBSE, IB & IGSCE Boards.

Yes, an Academic Specialist registered with SYOLOZ can teach any number of subjects or courses they are experts in.

We have created a very flexible and adaptive system. You can teach at your own decided convenient time and days.

The number of sessions that a teacher can teach depends upon your availability. You can take 3-4 sessions in a day as per your availability.

We do not suggest any compulsory minimum number of sessions. However, 2-3 sessions per week are recommended for regular teaching of students at school and college levels.

We follow a model of 70:30 with teachers. 70% share is received by the teachers and 30% by SYOLOZ.

This initiative provides an exciting opportunity for you to make an income of minimum Rs.14,000 per month, with at least 20 hours of work per week.

You have a potential to earn up to Rs. 25,000 per month based on performance and merit.

The duration of one session is 1 hour

Any session that is ended by a teacher before 1 hour shall be considered as incomplete, except in a grave situation.

It will have a direct effect on the pro-rata payment of the teacher.

  • In case of planned leave, please send a mail to Academic Coordinator at least 5 days in advance and also inform telephonically.
  • In case of unplanned leave, please inform telephonically at least 3 hours before scheduled session.
  • In case of emergency situation, please inform telephonically immediately so that the student can be intimated accordingly.

Different scenario:

Student missing a scheduled class after informing us in advance

A mail will be sent to the teacher w.r.t. same.

The student will not be charged and no payment will be credited to the teacher.

The session will be rescheduled.

Student missing the classes without any prior information

Teacher would be informed as soon as SYOLOZ gets the information.

Teacher waits for 15minutes and then ends the session. She/ He should immediately enter report on the platform, write a mail oi SYOLOZ and also inform telephonically, if possible.

The student will be charged and 50% payment will be credited to the teacher.

A leverage of 15 minutes is provided in such a situation.

Different Scenario:

Student entering a scheduled class late after informing us in advance

A mail will be sent to the teacher w.r.t. same and information will also be give telephonically

The session will start 10 minutes late.

Student entering a scheduled class late without any prior information

Session would start after student joins

The session will not be extended.

The student will be charged full and full payment will be credited to the teacher.

We will not provide any content for teaching in every session. SYOLOZ will provide support in identifying resource material for teaching anytime.

Hardware Requirements

A laptop/desktop with good processing power, minimum of 4 GB RAM,
High speed Internet connectivity (at least 4 MBPS)
A digital pen tablet or stylus or a Whiteboard
A continuous power backup

Even though you do not need to be highly expert in technology but you should have basic computer knowledge.

No. You do not need any software to be installed on your system. You will teach via link provided on your dashboard. You access the link directly by logging into your account.

Yes, the teachers have to teach using laptop only. You can attach it with Tablet and Pen for making session more interactive.

No, the teachers cannot teach using mobiles.

Yes, we have an app but it is only recommended for students as of now.

Yes. Our technical expert will interact with you. If your tablet syncs with our platform, you can use the same for sessions.

Payment is decided by SYOLOZ. The same is mentioned in the contract.

The payment for the month is made betweenthe 5th and10th of next month. It is credited by Bank Transfer

In online tuitions, it is very important to involve a student in a fruitful Teaching-Learning Process. Hence, you can teach using various methodologies like

There is a method to share assignment and tests with students on our interactive platform. You will be trained on the same in the technical training.

GroupSessions

Group sessions will be take only from Grades 6 to 10.

There will be 3-5 students in a group.

The group will consists of students from same Board, same class and studying the same subject.

If one or more student joins late, we will personally communicate tothe parents to inform about thecontent part that has been missed and look into it themselves.

The session will start at regular time with other students.

However, in such cases, we encourage student(s) to ask their doubts to teachers. For this special provision may be made on a case-to case basis.

It will not be possible to have a separate session. The student will be informed about what was taught in the session. The student can ask doubts about the topic from teacher in the doubt clearing sessions. Special session, if nay will be organised only in very specific cases

The payment for the month is made between the 5th and 10th of next month. It is credited by Bank Transfer.

The teacher will immediately ask the student to log out and follow the process as explained i.e. to contact with technical support at SYOLOZ.

The teacher should make sure that thetime of rest of the students

is not wasted and session continues as usual for them.

Since in group classes, every student deserves equal attention, you may teach using innovative methods like Question & Answer, Quiz, Discussions, Student-led interaction etc.

Teacher has to mark attendance separately for all students in every session.

No, the students in one batch will not change once it is formed except in special circumstances eg. Misbehaviour by a student, Parental disruption, Problem in timing with student etc.
